    After significant research I’ve decided to get myself a tropical aquarium. A 105l Aquael LEDDY 75. No fish yet as I’m waiting on the bacteria to establish. But yeah. I’m excited

    Plan is:

    • 6 Corydoras sterbai

    • 12 Cardinal Tetra

    • 6 Amano Shrimp

    • 1 Honey Gourami

    I have a Java Fern in there now growing on lava stone. Also want to get some Anubias on Lava Stone and some Java Moss for the drift wood

    So yeah. Murky right now but it should settle after a few days. And in a few weeks if the water test comes back good I’ll start stocking it.

    My niece is moving into her first flat. She was decorating it with some friends and she said some random guy who doesn’t even live in the block opened the door. After being told to get out “offered” to help decorate (yeah bullshit). I’m just glad she had friends with her. She’s been locking her door religiously ever since.

    I only know because I was helping her build some furniture and she told be. So yeah. I said does she want an indoor camera and that I’d pay. Got her one of those Tapo 2K ones. One she doesn’t have to pay monthly for. Nothing fancy just wanted something she could ceiling mount and had night vision. But holy fuck that’s bad

    The self censorship of language

    Watched a great video by Amy Shira Teitel about the self censorship of language on Platforms like YouTube. A great watch and puts in words my own opinions on the matter. That it downplays the gravity of real situations such as true crime cases and world events like World War II

    So. Who’s to blame? Well it’s the advertisers. We’re now in a situation whereas far as sensitive topics go broadcast TV is less restrictive than YouTube, at least as far as language goes.

    I don’t like that people have taken to calling it Algo-Speak. It implies it’s a new version of language and not what it actually is. Corporate cowardice.

    Witcher 3

    Started a Deathmarch play through of The Witcher 3 recently. Have to say it’s really not as challenging as I expected. All you really have to do is make sure you prep beforehand.

    Anyway. As you can probably tell TW3 is my favourite game of all time. My Steam hours are nothing. Over 400 hours of GOG plus however many on PS4 before I got into PC gaming.

    Long story short. Witcher 3. Good Game. Highly recommend.
